The owners had an old clay lined pond which kept leaking and the water level was unable to stabilise. To rectify the problem a 1mm firestone EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) liner was installed with a large under gravel filter system. We then added some 200mm pre established coir rolls for instant planting and bank retention purposes. A remarkable transformation from the original pond.
